Evil God - Release Notes v1.0.0.99

Overall


Major adjustments reaching gameplay maturity are now released in this version of Evil God. First of all and the most important is offline progress, as an idle game this was a critical part I didn't have developed so trying to emulate other games I implemented offline might farming which will take up to 10% of your current production to be farmed while you are offline or while your tab isn't active. This percentage can be increased by purchasing it's upgrade using another new feature: Blood Tears. This are a secondary resource and will act as an e-currency. Blood tears are earned by reaching achievements listed in the award screen (also a new feature) and by a flying random bonus that may appear during gameplay. Is important to have in mind that offline farming/progress doesn't cause your units to interact with each other and gain more faith, it's just a method for farming might, that's it. Three more units were also added in this release marking the beginning of spell level 2 units featuring Demons.


Changes

- Necro Berserker. Its ability to create random undead units now coexist with Necrototem, if a unit is killed by a player it will trigger Necrototem spawing ghouls ability, but if it's killed by Necro Berserker then former's ability will be triggered.

- Units Lifetime, Bonus Lifetime and casting spells is now synchronized with a server time value so no matter if you close the game or change tabs visibility, timer will still run and therefore timed abilities will be consumed. This change precedes online game saves and leaderboards.

- A cool Splash Screen was added to replace old Evil God B&W recalling Zhan's return from the dead.

New Features

- Blood Tears. An e-currency allowing you to acquire updates.

- Achievements. By achieving each medal you will be rewarded with Blood Tears, not every medal is easy so try your best to complete them.

- Offline farming. You will farm up to 10% of your total potential farming and you can increase this percentage by purchasing it with Blood Tears.

- Imp Demon and Shadow Demon. These are base unit for Spell Level two and as you read, they are demons. I'm designing cool new features for this new class.

- Behemot. A giant demon whose only thought is to smash humans to death, he will grant +X faith to all other demons for each human killed. Try new combos with this juggernaut.


Bug Fixes.

- Walking patterns. Some units wander away from town, several changes were made to prevent this from happening.
