Well, release 1.0.0.7 has been a living hell for me, several bugs were injected to productions and they weren’t easy to correct because of all the data already generated, for a beginner experience this was major. So now several player flew away, hope not permanently but still a large number.
So to compensate this whole mess, besides my deepest apologies, I posted a 5M might reward for all user who may or may not had been affected by this fault. This bonus should be granted automatically for everyone showing a blank frame with a text message indicating the error that caused games to be deleted. This message will hide after 60 seconds and should look as follows:
Right after you see the message your balance will be granted with +5M might.
This bonus won't affect your Might Record since it hasn't been earned by playing.
Nevertheless if for any reason you weren’t granted, you have to check a couple of things first.
1. Go to menu by pressing menu button on top-right corner of the game
2. Then verify that game version is 1.0.0.74 as show on bottom-left corner
If your game isn’t on version 1.0.0.74 you will have to clear your browser cache and go back to congregate game webpage so the new version is downloaded automatically. Remember that if you see images glitching just refresh by pressing F5.
In case you haven’t received your bonus although game has been cleared out you have to follow these steps.
Warning. If your game is up and running this procedure should never be used as it will clear all database data related with Evil god and you will loose all you have achieved.
This procedure is specific of Google Chrome
1. While game is running on your browser press CTRL+SHIFT+J, then de debug window of Chrome will open and you’ll be available to navigate.
2. As show below, look for “Application” menu on top right of the game. In below image it is highlighted in blue on the top-right corner of web browser.
3. There will be a tree list where several database names appear, look for localforage database, drill down to show its content and right click over keyvaluepairs table.
4. Press clear button to erase all content in the database. Database should be cleared out and Key value GameData must be blank.
5. Refresh your web browser to start game again. Evil God will try to load deprecated WebStorage saved game and if any an old version of your progress will appear, in case there’s none your game will have its initial state with 600 starting might and no followers.
6. Now you will have to wait 60 seconds so game generates a new GameData entry. Wait for “Game Saved” message.
7. After game is saved refresh your browser to load Evil God again and you will see your bonus granted.
These steps were tested and will work, just make sure you follow them correctly..
